Apple Orchard Wassailing 2025

January 17 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

As the sun sets on Old Twelfth Night (January 17), we venture out to the orchard to wassail (wish good health to) the apple trees for a great harvest this year. And what is wassailing, besides something you hear mentioned in Christmas carols? In the cider-producing areas of southern England, it is a centuries-old tradition to visit the orchard, offer cider and toast, make a lot of noise, and scare off any unwelcome spirits… all of which will lead to a better harvest! RSVP for Wassailing 2025

Friday, January 17, 4:00 - 6:00 PM

Name(Required)

We’ll have snacks and drinks (hot or cold, with or without alcohol), and we’ll visit the orchard to toast the Apple Tree Man and ensure a fruitful season in the fall. Noise-makers like drums, rattles, and bells are encouraged!

🍎 Plan to join us for apple picking in September and cider-making in October, too 🍎

Bring weather-appropriate clothes and shoes for walking, should you want to venture outside. You can also just sit around the fireplace and stay warm. We have two friendly dogs who can be kept in a separate area from guests by request.
